Over on The Bird site, I started getting a bunch of right wing tweets in my feed because I happen to follow journalists who monitor that site. It was like turning on your faucet at watching dirty gray water come out. Blech!

The “fight” for Twitter is a mistake. Musk will keep tweaking the algorithm until everyone is radicalized.

@ewarrenfan @TradingPlacesResearch @georgetakei I wasn't a big account, but I still didn't want to be impersonated. I 0'd it out and left it locked for a month. But yesterday I went back and deactivated. I decided that I don't even want to exist over there any more. No point.

@the_Effekt @ewarrenfan @TradingPlacesResearch @georgetakei I just locked my account. I am trying to get a mass #Twexit #TwitterMigration date--perhaps Dec. 7th, but that would be too soon for folks to move here, or to Post--but it appears I don't have much engagement there.

A far more influential account than mine would need to lead that charge.

At this point they should just set their accounts to allow only replies from those they reply to. My main feed is acircle jerk of stuff elon and his stans tweet. It's already a cesspool of hate and stupidity
