@rosenstand @godpod I didn’t go cold turkey. I gave it a month and as it slid downhill further, I figured I’d quit. Deleted all my tweets and moved here permanently

@bellezza_one @Porpentina2017 @rosenstand @godpod There's a couple of arguments against deactivation. In 30 days your username is available for someone else to use - so someone could impersonate you. And it means you can't leave info on where you've gone for friends, or tools like Fedifinder to find and follow, and you can't use those tools to find your friends's Mastodon names.
