GillianA 🌺@DavMicRot Ten (10) paid personal days are available to every Australian worker thanks to unions. Personal days encompasses sick leave, leave to care for others who are sick, mental health leave, etc. It used to cover domestic violence leave but that is now a new category of leave; 10 days additional paid leave. Victims of DV can access the paid entitlement up front. Australia also offers five-days additional unpaid DV leave.

SimonProD@DavMicRot always amazed at how bad it is in some self-proclaimed "modern industrialized" countries. Here you get as many paid sick leave days as its deemed necessary by your doctor
