Confession:
We once had a black cat named Seamus. One day he ran out an open door and disappeared.

Seamus showed up 2km away at my daughter's primary school a few weeks later. The whole school joined in the celebration. The kids did a video with made up stories about Seamus' two week adventure, drew pictures, etc. He was nicknamed Famous Seamus.

A few months later we took Seamus to the vet and was told Seamus was a girl.

We never told anyone.

@JMcE My two cats from the same litter have strategically placed puffs of fur that look distinctly like balls. It's weird.
