Twitter has been a game-changing source of connection and organizing for groups all around the world. On both sides. If a sizable portion of the people fighting and organizing for civil rights and basic human decency leave the platform and scatter to the winds (insta, Mastodon, Post, etc) we no longer have that powerful organizing tool, but the people who are fomenting racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and oppression still do. We are weakened, and they are empowered.

Good points, and your arguments are valid, but I don’t want to support Elon or the blood money backing Twitter right now. Maybe if Elon fails and someone more responsible buys out Twitter I’ll migrate back. Maybe.
Still, I respect your opinion and understand where you are coming from.
