I want to make a test on the % reach a post can have in terms of people in other servers. Are you seeing this post on mastodon.gamedev.place or another server? (Appreciate if you can boost this).

@bezorp @richdmay @djlink Same here — I saw it boosted by someone I follow from a third server. This is a pretty good demonstration of the reach given by Federation! Did you have any target number of votes that you hoped to reach when you started the poll?

@dougal @richdmay @djlink it is pretty cool! Even starting from my local timeline, after one or two boost hops I see more "foreign" instances in the usernames than ones from my home instance.

It makes running into someone from the same instance as me "out here" in the rest of the #fediverse feel rare and kind of special.
