🔴Over recent weeks, we've complained to the Information Commissioner about the huge delays from Government in responding to our freedom of Information requests.
This week the ICO intervened and ordered the Government to respond in next 10 days.🧵
🔴In March, we asked the DHSC to release the WhatsApp messages between Matt Hancock & his pub landlord friend Alex Bourne, awarded a £40million Test and Trace contract.
They stonewalled us for 8 months. Now the ICO has ordered Govt to provide a 'substantive response' in 10 days
🔴In Jan, we asked the DHSC to provide copies of emails between Innova and Michael Gove and Lord Bethell.
Innova landed billions of pounds worth of Covid testing contracts.
Finally, after a 10 month wait Government have been ordered to provide a response within 10 days.
🔴Finally, the ICO has given the UKHSA 2 weeks, to provide a response to our request for the names of "VIP" referrers who helped Covid testing firms onto the 'priority' lane.
