We should be serious in debating the abolishing of the monarchy. In my view it has no place if we are truly to make progress and bring about the changes we desperately need as a society.
Sybille Sterk@therightarticle I said I all along. With that extra power should come extra responsibilities but the opposite is true. Power creates the privilege to protect the power and privilege.
@sybille Yes I agree. It’s the reinforcing of privilege and deference that in my view is so suffocating if we are serious about being a genuine modern democratic country
