@ramblinghobbit Using #Spotify and supporting your favourite artists don't have to be mutually exclusive. I've discovered an astonishing amount of new music since I started using Spotify. I then go off and buy stuff I really like to support the artists, so they likely wouldn't have got any money from me had it not been for Spotify. I guess I'm probably in the minority though. It is appalling how little Spotify pay artists of course, but if you use it as a jumping off point it's great

@ramblinghobbit I get the intention behind the poster, but it misses the mark for me. Capitalism sucks. We are in a recession. It is not the onus of the masses to support artists when many are struggling to support themselves. This poster buys into old capitalist bs which pits working class against working class using shame-based language. Everyone's boss makes a ton of money & they make much less. It is the way things work here. (FWIW, I don't use Spotify, but my partner does.)
