I came extremely close to getting run over this evening, while out for a walk. The driver (I'm guessing a college student) was super apologetic, but I'm kind of surprised at how much of a shock it was and how I'm still feeling jumpy an hour or so later, even though I didn't actually get hit and was able to jump out of the way at the last second (driver still realized and stopped to make sure I was ok and apologize)
