Why do people believe in a 'GOD'? A Supreme Being who created everything & watches over us all?
A Supernatural Entity who, if you pray to it often & hard enough, will grant your personal wishes & desires?
While this 'God' is listening to you & granting your prayers, in another place people are starving, & dying.
Yet those people also pray to the same 'God' to save them!
How are you right & they are wrong?
Often you all pray to the same 'God' for the same things so what makes your prayer any better than theirs?
Why should this 'God' grant your wish & not someone else's?
If there is a 'God' why doesn't it treat everyone who believes & prays to it the same?
@cellmate and if an American evangelical was instead born in Pakistan or India what god would they worship?
@parsec Exactly my point! Thank you!
I deliberately didn't aim my comments at any particular 'God', just the concept of why such Supernatural Being or Beings exist & why one should be more relevant than any other!
