In spite of the rhetoric, I don't think Scrum is at all challenging. It's agility that's challenging. The entire organization has to be agileāit's not a process and it's not something only the teams do. E.g. any org that's mandated Scrum across all its teams is not an Agile one.

I find most orgs that say they are Agile are really only agile on the delivery teams. If the rest of the org is working off an output based roadmap then all you get out of agile delivery is a bunch of incomplete features.
The delivery team wants to release small and learn. Rest of the org checks a box and wants the next feature.
