Reading more about the details of operations in the US war in Vietnam…it kind of seems like large parts of the US military was bad at war. “What! Use encrypted comms? What! Change our bombers’ routes?”
@profmusgrave wonder if it’s a function of conscription and lack of training? But if it contains various skills (ground / aviation) that seems to make it less likely. Not positive but I don’t think aviation (pilots) were conscripted, would have to check.
