I’m curious why people who hated the algorithmic timeline used it when they could have used a 3rd party app

I was mad at Elon for senselessly burning down my neighborhood, but I'm liking it here on Mastodon, so it's not so bad. He's still a heartless, selfish bastard though, even if we managed to cope with his cruelty this time. We are Little People to be crushed under his boot.
