I also have a GoFundMe. As I say in the video, it seems impressive how much I have raised but:
- the first $20k went to my portion of the 100k hospital bill
- my meds aren’t on cost plus drugs
- after manufacture discounts,my trash insurance & all the help I can get, my cancer treatment expenses alone average $2910 a month
- my insurance started out awesome then after my returned cancer diagnosis was confirmed they bumped me to a trash plan
So with the two sets of twins & taking care of my mother
(Who came out of retirement to take care of me in 2016)
My living expenses are $3k a month
Then the monthly medical expenses are on top of that. Some months I can’t work - it’s not like the funds went to fur coats or something. 🤷🏾♀️
At the start of every month I’m LUCKY if I’m back to zero.
