I was wondering if other fans have multiple clubs they support. For the most part there is no conflicts (apart from when Sheffield Utd have the occasional promotion to EPL). Arsenal is forever my number one (if they ever play one of the other teams) but I support the following each week.

@hazman68 I don't support other clubs besides #arsenal but I do literally follow a couple, monitoring them. One is Wrexham after the very interesting doco. That level of tight integration between community and club isn't usual for the PL giants anymore, so it's fascinating to watch their mutual redevelopment. The other club I follow w/o supporting is Newcastle, because one of my best friends is a VERY proud Geordie. Again, watching their team rebuild is interesting.

@hazman68 around when I started following football Kaiserslautern won promotion and then the Bundesliga...loved it but it's been painful since then.

@hazman68 Only #Arsenal. But I have soft spot for Glossop North End AFC. The club was founded, yes, 1886 & is the smallest town ever to field a team in English top flight football.

Family behind the club were (Hill-)Woods, local cotton manufacturers. Samuel was the chairman. GNE, nicknamed The Hillmen, is playing in Northern Premier League - West Division.

Woods / Hill-Woods are buried in St James’ Churchyard in Glossop.

@hazman68 I've had a soft spot for Sporting CP ever since I went to see us play them in the Europa League a few years ago
I've been to the Estadio Jose Alvalade a few times since,the last time was in October when I went with my grandson.We saw Sporting play Frankfurt in the Champions League and Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese League.We also went last Easter to watch the Lisbon Derby

@AFCGogledd my teams tend to have same type of connections. My mom’s family is from Sheffield which is why I follow Sheff Utd. Fathers family from Scotland. Lived in Brisbane most of my life and now live in Houston. Gladbach is the only team I picked as an adult to support.

I've got family in Canada and I ended up going to a game several years ago
