First physical board game in about a month, blasting into a 4 player session of Twilight Inscription. I remain unconvinced that the complexity and length is justified, though the constituent sections have some fun ideas.

@Boardgamefeast I'd agree. Overall it's not a bad game, but it felt like they took what should've been a 30 min r&r and turned it into a two hour ordeal just because.

I still prefer Hadrian's Wall as my epic r&r

@Boardgamefeast hope you like it! I prefer it because it's structures more as "here's a fistful of resources each round, do what you'd like" rather than "here's two resources at a time, pick the obvious thing". And there's enough going on that you're forced to prioritize two-ish things to be productive. Also there's a sweet solo campaign released by the designer!
