A reminder for anyone new to mastodon who might not be happy with some of the racist and bad actors out there on other servers... Just import the fediblock list to your personal blocks and you will be safe from the vast majority of bad actors.

I took all the domains from https://fediblock.neocities.org/ block list and put it in a csv file that can be imported so you can block all hateful instances. Download it [here](https://anonfiles.com/0088mcF8y8/blocked_domains_csv) ### How to import - go to settings - click on import & export - click on import - under import select domain blocking list - then select the csv file you downloaded - click upload **Boom** a friendly mastodon & fediverse experience :ablobsmilehappy:

@freemo i'm not sure promoting a list which is full to the brim with accusations like "Soapbox FE" is good.

@bonifartius I promoted it because its the only list I know of that only adds entries if they have evidence documented... if you know a better list im all ears.

@freemo fair enough! was just surprised as the soapbox shaming of that list is as stupid as the "kiwifarms authored tool" reason :)

@bonifartius So i just looked at the list... I do agree the soap box thing is nonsense but as far as I can tell no instances are blocked becaus eof it. In the notes it lists soap box but the reasons listed in each case is not soap box related.

@freemo yeah, maybe i misinterpreted it. still leaves a bit if a foul taste as alex is hated due to him being a "terf" and putting "soapbox fe" into the notes seems to be along the lines of "uses evil terf software".

so i still am no fan of the list as it is heavily over-blocking imo, but i not am forced to use it anyway :)
