I did get some extra lore, though. Canterlot High Tell All establishes that the Cutie Mark Crusaders (which they still are in this universe, for some reason) are freshmen in their first year at CHS. Which is wild to me, but I guess it's not that far off from their horse selves being about Horse 15 on the cusp of puberty.
There's probablty more lore in here, just waiting to be discovered.
