tomoz1I am new here and obviously still finding my way. Wondering if there is anyone / any site providing guidance on using Mastodon? I found many posts here and on the web about the fediverse and instances but nothing that explains how to use specific features like Lists. I can create lists but how to then utilise these remains a mystery. Just one example.
CJ@tomoz1 I used lists to group together users who chat a lot about a certain topic (sports team, for example) so it doesn't get lost in the home feed.
@cjpu right- that’s what I would like to do. I feel a bit silly bit cannot work out how to add a user to a list
@tomoz1 not sure how to do it on the app, on the website it's so convoluted being in the list settings - same place where you can edit the list name. So many times I've changed the name of the list instead of searching for a name to add to the list.
@cjpu - yes, found it now - not really user friendly but I have now started to add some names - posts do not show up yet but maybe this will only happen for future toots?
