@aurynn IMO The product is the aggregating social connections into a convenient location.

Content moderation is like continual maintenance of the social graph to keep it running smoothly. With out it, the grit builds up until the whole thing seizes.

@aurynn I also like the gardening metaphor, where moderation is weeding. Gotta keep it up or the weeds take over and suppress the rest of the plants.

@aurynn I’m not sure I agree. I think the essential product is enabling community. Content moderation is one essential element
