idk how many trans folks can relate to this but theres a certain type of cis person who, while not fetishising me sexually, will drop into dms or "invite for a coffee" only to come at me with deeply personal questions about my trans experience while showing no interest in who i am as an individual

i've taken to calling these folks "tranthropologists". trying to get educated is fine but gosh i am not a subject i'm a human being you know? idk maybe i'm overly private
