I maintain that any society with homeless people is a failure and needs to reconsider its values. We have so much of it here in the states & so many wealthy, it's a disgrace.

@HalinaA @ElaineDyson People say the older you get the more conservative you get but.. the older I get the more Left I go. "People Still Homeless" should be on the front page of every fucking newspaper every day until it's handled. Corporate ownership of houses is evil, housing should be a right. Apartment buildings should be a co-op, not a profit machine... and so so much more.

@ElaineDyson I was as a project worker in a homeless shelter. The problem is getting worse and isn’t going to improve anytime soon. We have about 10 full time members of staff but are only able to stay open because of an army of volunteers. There are so many good souls about but there needs to be because of this sinister Tory government.
