#caleg folks, do you need better mapping tools for the new Senate and Assembly districts? We have turned them into KML files you can upload into custom Google maps and you can download them from our shared folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1E1vX0OIAvYH-BUek5WJ0ddLK_n1brbH6?usp=share_link

Google's MyMaps tool limits you to 5MB per upload so I had to break the data into 3 files for the #CAAssembly and 2 for #CASenate. Each file will be its own layer you can turn on and off.

CA Leg District KML Files for Maps – Google Drive

The Assembly files don't have name attributes, so if you use them in Google Maps, you will want to click the 3 dots for each layer and Open Data Table. Click the arrow next to District and select "Set as Title Column".

You can see an example of these in action with our #SB907 support map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1l7nRrh1O_lnC9Li0vMIZCYZZ7FMIl9M&usp=sharing

If the demand is out there, we should be able to add KML files for CA's new Congressional districts, too. Let us know.
