If you only use your social media accounts to repost awful news articles about awful people doing awful things, you're missing out on a great opportunity here to finally be happy and there's probably a good chance you're shouting into the void because you've been blocked/muted.

You have the chance to be happy on a social network for once, don't let the bad things in the world ruin it for you.

Talk, interact, socialize... you don't need to be a bot for the news corporations.

@KuJoe Brilliant post. Yes. Too many exBirds are posting links back to bird, where i DEF don't want to be anymore.

@Godfrey642 @KuJoe This was also me, just recently:

"Hide posts" does wonders, by the way.

Attached: 1 image #TwitterRefugees and #TwitterMigration survivors, lend me your eyes: I am about post what may be an unpopular opinion: I left the hellscape of a hellsite (where Twitter deliberately de-algorithmized my posts, and falsely marked my account as "spam" as "a mistake" - note my sarcasm on those last scare quotes), because of the vitriol, the hatred, the disinformation, and the foreign state bad actors who caused all of that. This is why I will be unfollowing anyone in my Mastodon feed (that shows me everything, thank you elephant-site this is a good thing) who brings over the poison, hatred, and disinfo, from the bird site. I understand why you're posting it. I do. Do we need to fight the Internet's present-day version of Radio Télévision Libre des Mille Collines during the Rwandan genocide, AKA Twitter, during the COVID-19 pandemic? Oh yeah! 💯 Do I want to see it right now? Nah. After 3 years of poisoning my mind with Twitter, I need to set it aside. I really really need to do that.
