Marta Mirazon Lahr@MarcKissel Hi Marc - this is the time of year when we write many of these! I always try to stress (if applicable) that they think and work independently, have original ideas and are prepared to learn methods/tools as needed to meet their goals.
I think these are important in the process of joining another group as PD or a new job that will benefit from their research skills/expertise.
