@augieray so when my friend travels to see me from LA on the train after proudly showing me his negative test that means it is even more of a cosmic crap shoot about whether or not he is actually has it and is contagious.
I am reassured a little by the fact we are both boosted even though I didn't have any side-effects from the boosting and by the fact we often wear masks.

@leemarkum @MaryMRedoutey Alas, with most of the population moving on and public health agencies sitting on their hands, I wouldn't hold my breath for new and improved COVID tests any time soon.
