Daytime folks, where is the love that pecan pie deserves? I can't believe it's losing this poll. Must be the bots.
I recognize some people were upset about the lack of their preferred pie choices. There were a lot: rhubarb, sweet potato, key lime, cherry, lemon merengue (which, to be clear, is not a pie people), and even some calls for some savory pies.
But an unfortunate limitation of polls here is a limit of four choices... though it appears I could allow multiple choices.
Perhaps we need to run a tournament style pie fight (like I did last year on Twitter with misunderstood legal concepts).
eabolden@mmasnick there is also chocolate truffle pie, and at least three versions of pecan pie. What about the crust? Should different crusts be considered different pies? I always thought there should be a category for square or rectangular pies so lemon bars would count as a pie. Crust-less pies should also be a thing. A wonderful survey idea #survey
