I just saw a hyperaware post on NextDoor from a former Marine about crime increasing and the need to be on high alert. Actually no — statistics have shown it has been on the downward trend for the past decade. But it’s also important to be aware. @batmitzvah I quit looking at nextdoor LONG before I started backing away from Twitter, but for many of the same reasons.
