I used to work for a US enterprise in Germany. It was always fun when we got new management to see the new managers bully people, get hauled into court, and then find out that there are laws in Europe.

@tjmcintyre Good Labour laws prevent capitalist class abuse extremes. Who would have thought you can't treat people like trash? In most of the world you still can.

@tjmcintyre Curious. In the UK I was under the impression that the law recognises that it can't force an employer to keep someone employed if they don't want them, all it can do is require that loadsamoney be paid.
