I’ve had a lot of people ask me recently why not stay on Twitter and fight.

The reason is because Musk controls the algorithm. He could ban you tomorrow, and he could also just deprioritize every one of your tweets so no one sees them.

You can’t fight and win when the opponent has complete control over the field of conflict.

@protecttruth “Staying to fight” is wild because people who are doing that are providing unpaid labor to their perceived enemy. It’s less like a battlefield (as some have likened it) and more like a fighting arena owned and operated by your enemy who charges admission and doesn’t give you a cut. No thanks.

@WeShall @protecttruth You have a point. It is a fighting arena, which some pay for just to knowingly brutalize each other for the entertainment of that POS. Social media version of the Hunger Games anyone?
