Ohh how the narrative has changed. During Covid, GMB, BBC and the tabloids were falling over themselves to clap and cheer our NHS heros (Nurses). Now that they seek a decent wage for the incredible work they do, “they are holding the country to ransom.” In the words of Terese Coffey..”If they don’t like the job they can leave.” The fickle world of right wing conservatism. I’m afraid to say that the mainstream media are complicit with the dregs of Westminster. I’m a Scot. Get me out of here!

Break a leg, Thérèse!

@gramc I just read on Instagram my best mate has spent three days in a corridor with his baby in A&E and now they are sending them home. The nearest health care for the baby is Berlin. Stunned, disgusted, sick sick SICK of these lying tory bastards.

@gramc People asked me at the time "Why don't you join in and clap?" I replied "It's a fickle gesture, we should be demanding better pay and funding for the NHS not just clapping for a few minuets." They said "oh of course they will". I mentioned "Well if the don't hope you will be just as supportive then as you are now."

Some people have such short memories.

@gramc Schrödinger’s nurses. Simultaneouslytoo important to be allowed to strike, but not important enough to be paid a living wage.

The hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance of this government is breathtaking.

@gramc
That scores a 3, a 6, and a 10.
