The quest to understand human intelligence is laudable, but attempts to identify the primary cause of intelligence have arguably done more harm than good
A.W.Ford, the Curious Curator@TheSkeptic #quantification & other ways of creating #intelligence #metrics, unfortunately, are often the most frequent methods any scientific attempt will pursue, if for no other reason than the necessity of #observation.
Obviously the #biases, implied or explicit, within any given metric are what can lead to horrific conclusions. Do these come from a human need to see all metrics as a basis for #valuation?
It would be interesting to see if we could generate metrics in a valueless format 🤔
