I admit I've spent about the last hour watching Americans and UK people reacting to John Farnham singing in his hey day.
It's glorious. He really was The Voice.
And it's lovely to see people around the world, mostly born since that time, essentially fall off their chairs when they hear what he could do with those vocal chords.
I remember it while it was happening. It seemed to us like he was a veteran then. And that his voice would just go on and on.
Sending John and his family much respect and gratitude for the joy he brought us, and hope for his comfort in his recovery from mouth cancer.
We may not hear The Voice again. But it will resonate through time.
