Following hash tags is really cool! However I'm quickly realizing I'm going to swamp my feed if I'm not careful. Kind of want to rate limit the hashtag feeds.
Something like "show at most 4 posts an hour from this feed"

@keir Yeah, I’m running into the same issue. Mastodon has Lists, but I don’t think you can add hashtags (just users)? You can also use a hashtag’s rss feed.. but not the prettiest thing (in my rss reader at any rate)

@keir My solution has been to use the advanced web interface (in settings) -- makes it more "Tweetdeck-like" -- and then I can have hashtags in their own columns so that they don't clutter my main feed!

@keir I’m using 3 iOS apps and none of them appear to support either following or pinning hashtags. Nor can I find a way to create Twitter-like lists. Seems like a big missing feature, possibly enough to push me to move off Mastodon to some other fediverse or non-fediverse app
