Spent only a very little time on social media today. Mostly because I have a chest infection which is rather unpleasant.

But looking at Twitter, the amount of nastiness, the promotion of bigotry and false information is front & centre.

On the other hand, Mastodon seems to be full of people quietly being polite to each other.
