In grim news that will surprise few, it turns out that *senior* police officers were responsible for the arrest of 4 journalists at #JustStopOil’s M25 protests - this wasn’t a case of isolated incompetence

Presumably those arrested will receive compensation, & fairly quickly - given the content of the police’s own report into the arrests 💷

Grim news indeed. It is indicative of where the UK is going, politically, and with every new revelation & every new law the similarities with early 1930's Nazi Germany become more obvious and more terrifying.

I'm not joking when I say that, if I was of the Jewish faith, I'd be deeply worried. This government has a track record of demonising minorities for political gain, and history teaches us where that almost always ends up.
