I had stopped tweeting a couple years ago, partly because of the imagined pressure from the growing audience of my followers, partly because I imagined I would be adding to the noise in other's online lives. The first bit is only in my head, and the second bit even more of course. Maybe this move to a different platform might work as a reset for me

@cupe The way I see it; If people don't like what I tweet, they should just unfollow/hide my tweets.

I don't take it personally if someone unfollows me because I do the same to reduce noise.

@daniel_collin yeah, totally. it's connected to some psychological issues for me, where I sometimes take responsibility for other people's (imagined, projected) feelings. I've become a lot better at this, and I feel like I can actually let other people make their own decisions :P

The thing one has to realize is that you can't please everyone, just as releasing demoscene stuff :)
