England football team were set to wear One Love armbands (in support of LGBTQ issues) at the world cup in Qatar (controversial choice to host and very anti LGBTQ of course). FIFA told them if they did they'd be booked at kick-off (I think was the latest threat). English FA relented in the end and wore approved armbands.
The photo is former player Alex Scott as part of the coverage team for the BBC, in said armband.
