I still have my account at #TheBirdSite but am far less likely to visit, even just to scroll through posts, if people like #TheOrangeGuy are posting. The atmosphere, which is bad already, will just get toxic due to the reinstated A/Cs and many who have not already left will do so in the weeks ahead as a result.

Very true. #TheBirdSite is returning to the dark, toxic days we saw before all of these accounts were suspended. Yet again I find myself asking, if #ElonMusk wanted to destroy #TheBirdSite, would he be doing anything differently? I do not think he would. I struggle with the idea he is intentionally destroying the site because of the money involved, but I also keep finding the idea returning with Every bone headed idea he comes up with.

#ElonMusk has made his leanings quite clear recently. He has de-platformed left leaning accounts and a/cs that criticise him. He even caused problems for candidates in the #2022Midterms (I think he blocked posts of one candidate...my memory is dreadful though so don't quote me). He stated months ago that he would reinstate #Trumps a/c though. He has a reputation he does not deserve and is in melt-down now people are finding out.

Several deplatformed accounts I reported/blocked for making violent threats, spreading misinformation/disinformation especially about #COVID19 and a certain conspiracy theory. They will stay blocked. Wonder how Elon will deal with ๐ช๐บ regulations? Or will the ๐ช๐บ ban Twitter? Curious as it had been a force for spreading democracy, supporting Ukraine ๐บ๐ฆ #NAFO
