@CatherineRussell2 Hope you're enjoying your book. I admit it's good not to have the certain air of nastiness on here that you could gave on Twitter. But I wish there were more of the people I knew here from there, so I'm not having to split my time between the two. I don't get a visual notification on my phone for Mastodon, and often find myself missing posts when they happen. Anyway...goodnight Catherine, sleep well later. 😴 XxX

@ClaireHayward If you click on the bell next to the follow icon on the people that you want notifications from, it should come up on the list on the right of the posts, if that makes sense?

It makes sense @suevickersthompson. But I mean like when someone posted that followed on Twitter or Instagram for example, I would get their symbol appear at the top of my phone...with Mastodon I don't. I do get a popping sound when one happens, but I can't hear it when I play music on my phone, which I do a lot. XxX
