I’m thankful to be able to talk to my mom for an hour and there’s no drama anywhere on the immediate family radar. Apparently that’s not as common as I was led to believe.
I’m thankful for never really having any awkward holiday drama, ever. Me and my wife, my brothers and their wives, my parents - we’re all good. Holidays are truly joyful and mostly stress-free.
I’m very thankful for good friends and keeping the (now $2) beer Thanksgiving Eve hockey game tradition going. That’s always a wild time.
I’m thankful for being taught how to cook well so I can make good Thanksgiving food for my family. I’m thankful to *have* family to share my good food with.

I’m thankful to have family around my table eating food and sharing stories and laughing. I’m thankful for a house full of dog cousins playing and then settling in for naps. I’m thankful to not have to do dishes.
