@molk : what is "Hardcore Carnivore" ? Some sort of spice blend ?

@ladyteruki Yes, it's one that an American blogger whose recipes I use promotes a lot. Willing to give it a run (as I understand it not too spicy, got a little charcoal in it so it helps make the crust).

That one is called Hardcore Carnivore Black.

@molk : oh ! I could only read the word "black", I thought it was related to pepper maybe. That's interesting, I don't think I've ever seen charcoal being used in a recipe.
@ladyteruki Ironically it helps form the bark around the meat, which inevitably is a little charcoaled anyway

@molk : I bet. And all the grease that usually is heavily present in dishes fit for big feasts.
@molk : quick question, the charcoal in this is not "activated", is it ?
@ladyteruki Yes indeedy, though smoking meat does do a fair job of rendering a lot of it out/through the meat.
@molk : oh for sure, I just mean that the meat won't be the only thing on the table :P
