Khalid ⚡Mastodon is making feel a bit crazy. As folks move from one instance to another I get yet another follower notification. Looking at it I think "I've seen this person before..."
Juergen Gutsch@khalidabuhakmeh same here 🤔 This is weird. Also what scares me are people that host there own server (fine to play around). What happens, if people move to that server and the owner is stopping maintaining it for whatever reason?
Randall Degges@khalidabuhakmeh @JuergenGutsch the weirdest thing about migration (IMO) is that there’s no way to preserve your post history. The followers stay, but the posts can’t be copied over :/
