I'm procrastinating on stuff, and catching an episode of Natsume's Book of Friends to mellow out ^___^
Mellow, sad, warm. Just the whole mood of this anime 🧡
Takashi Natsume is just so good, and I feel a lot like him (kinda like Kiriyama from 3-gatsu no lion), also he's pretty.
And I think the way yokai confuse him with Reiko Natsume, his grandmother, is interesting in a gender way I hadn't thought much about before today.

The yokai in this anime are kinda tragic?
Like Hinoe (yokai) really liked Natsume Reiko (human), and was really sad when she learned Reiko had died.
And a lot of yokai are. They usually stay away from humans but sometimes they really get attached, but since human lives are so short, it's also just painful to get attached and lose them so quickly.
And some yokai still choose to get mixed up with humans.
