I've never had a pure Border Collie before. Look at the intensity on his face. Generations of breeding have produced a dog that has total focus. He's in a trance like state. Not interested in treats or any type of distraction. Some experts have likened this working dog focus to autism in humans. But what is he so focused on?

All that energy... All that laserlike focus ... is brought to bear on the enemy... The Labrador enemy! Still, I'd rather he herded the Labrador than chased sheep or cars! Collies have been so bred to focus on movement that it's quite common for them to chase vehicles!
