Welshbird@davidallengreen I don’t understand if I’m honest. UK didn’t need agreement from the EU to hold a referendum on leaving that. Really don’t see why Scotland needs permission. (Am Welsh and hope we have a referendum on independence at some point - but not yet as I think we’d get the wrong result…)

despite Brexiteer complaints, really the EU didn't affect the UK's sovereignty all that much. Evidently, the same is not true of the Union and Scotland.
