Hi all. I have got the idea of instances all being able to 'talk' to one another. So, here's the first post on #union . Place. I am getting less inclined to worried about labels as I get older. However, I guess others would consider me a #socialist or a #communist but I am really just a person that wants #community, #equality and #justice. We are clearly all different. The #left is a place to see that close up. We can start a punch up in an empty room 😉 Take care all. 'see' you later 🐊

@PoliticalPuffin The terms left and right in politics originally derive from 18th C revolutionary France. Supporters of the monarchy sat on the right of the assembly, representatives of the people on the left.

The English "right" have simply been fighting to protect the establishment hierarchy and sovereignty of the crown for 250 years.

I will never understand why 60 million in England remain happily subservient to a gold hat as priority above their own wellbeing and life opportunities

I think ppl are cowed into submission through the constant bombardment of establishment and Capital's propaganda. Our system doesn't require the whole of the working class 'on side'. It only needs enough to get their carpetbagger to be 'first past the post'

There's the fear of having the very little we have being taken away or of being punished by the state because God help us should we need to call back on 'benefits'. On and on
