@chris Over the last week I pared mine back a lot, exported lists of follows and followers, locked it down, shared my Mastodon account, and today I removed the apps from my phone.

I decided not to remove the bird accounts completely for now, because some of the people I follow may move to Mastodon or elsewhere later and I’d like to scan for new socials again down the road, but I can sure respect a clean break.
