it'd be extremely epic if any friends i still have left on infosec.exchange could move elsewhere, so i can actually block the entire instance for hosting feds (the CISA), cause that's quite frankly a safety risk i cannot really take.
Infosec Exchange

A Mastodon instance for info/cyber security-minded people.

Mastodon hosted on infosec.exchange

@maia I commit not to host official accounts of anything, but can't commit to ID verification :/

If that would allow InfoSec people to remain federated with you, send them my way! If not, that's ok - and if you have any recommendations for an alt server I'd gladly follow you from there :)

Just committing in writing, this Mastodon instance will not host official accounts for anything. I encourage folks looking to run official government or company accounts to run their own instance (ex. AWS has a Mastodon instance). However, I can't/won't do ID verification and therefore can't guarantee the *absence* of anything from federal agents to terrorists, if all they did was lurk (same as any other mastoadmin). All accounts must follow instance mod rules in posts/boosts/DMs etc. ofc.

@tweedge i was just about to boost your other announcement post, i believe i can trust you well enough to run things in a way that's safer for the network :)

@maia ee thank you ;-;

Still trying to nail that down and please tell me when I miss!
